Lilo and Stitch. The Original “Body Positive” Disney Cartoon.

I love how Nani wasn’t stick thin like the rest of disney girls.

Love this movie

people always say “I love how Nani wasn’t stick thin” but NONE of the characters in that movie are, besides the head alien leader lady, but she’s an ALIEN.

and she’s still got cankles

Let’s give a moment to those mothers that can not have a child…

can I make this post sadder?
and a moment to those who lost their child

While we’re at it, let’s add a mother who lost her husband and son on the same day because of the same villain.

Lets add a mother, who knew her son was alive, but couldn’t come into contact with him. She had to watch him be raised by another family.
And of course, a mother who lost a son

I’m gonna go ahead and make this personal now. Let’s give a moment to the mothers who lost a son at childbirth and also lost themselves,  therefore losing their family. My mother had me, then my brother, then had twins and one of them died. Then she lost her battle to cancer. So let’s give a moment to all the mothers who lost their war against cancer, and a moment for those who’re still fighting, or have overcome it and finally beat it. (Picture of me and my mother)
